At the suberb German Amiga forum at a1k.org we can read about a new Amiga motherboard that fits the A1000 shell. It is called a next generation Phoenix system. Phoenix was a replacement motherboard for the A1000 that upgraded the aging A1000 hardware to A500 standards back in 91-92.
The specifications of the new motherboard is promising and blows the old Phoenix specifications away!
