Check out the pictures, I am sure you will enjoy some!
I just love the kind of shows/gatherings these Commodore enthusiasts from the Netherlands here in Europe seems to keep yearly.
For years they have provided pictures from the gatherings on their site where we can find images from a recent gathering called Van Pong Tot Playstation (crazy name, makes no sence to me, but then again I am a Swedish Viking and not from the Netherlands
) which was a retro game and computer show.
Over at a1k.org a couple of images from an Amiga-meeting have apeard. What is interesting is a picture of an Apple eMac running MorphOS!
Already rumours and images have been shown of MorphOS running on Apple notebook, whats next? G4 towers, TiBook and Powerbooks?
Expect prices of vintage Apple PPC gear to rise steadily if an official statement is released from the MorphOS devs! (we can only hope).
AmiWest 2009 is about to go live this weekend.
A representative from Hyperion -developers of AmigaOS- is scheduled to hold a speech at 2PM tomorrow Saturday so it will be very exciting to hear news about the future of AmigaOS tomorrow.
New hardware?
Memory protection in AmigaOS?
Cell and Mac mini port of AmigaOS4.1?
AmigaOS5 developed inhouse parallel with 4.1?
ARM port top priority?
Tomorrow all will be revealed (maybe).
Pianeta Amiga is an Amiga show in Italy that runs this weekend. The major attraction during the show is a working Sam 440 system with AmigaOS 4.1 which you also can purchase.
Be sure to check out some images at Amigakits gallery here and another user gallery here.
Do not forget to check out an early show report at Amigaworld.net
Check out the official page for Pianeta Amiga here (i think)
