Amiga Fish-disk database goes online for you to search Fishdisks

I have been hard at work for two days converting some static data files of old legendary Fish-disks to MySQL-database and configuring a WP-install to let users search content and find programs they may have forgotten or heard about.

So I guess it is with some pleasure after last nights 10 hour marathon the site Amiga Fish Disk database goes online tonight!

I hope you find the site useful, and you can be sure I will add some functions to it as time goes along.

Maybe with all positive news, and a new breath of hope, expectation and creativity a new line of Fish files will arise for the next gen Amiga.

I can remember it just as if it was yesterday glancing through disk no 650 or was it 630, eagerly waiting for disk 1000 to happen. Those where the days when you swapped PD disks with your local Amiga club or ordered a floppy from a PD-software house. Today it is all about the net, but let us not forgot where the strong roots of Amiga community were built on and where its origin comes from. We can do it all over again, maybe twice as good as before but 100% hardcore just as yesterday.

Amiga – f”k yeah!
